About the position:
Within the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) IT Organization "IT Vendor & License Management" (IT CIOO VML) defines and maintains the overall framework covering vendor and software license management for the SGRE IT Organization.
On behalf of our global customers, we manage all IT software licensing for most of the main IT Application and IT Infrastructure estate that is used by the global workforce. We are looking for an IT License & Software Supplier Management Professional.
What are my responsibilities?
- Oversee & monitor contractual agreements and license agreements of IT services and solutions. Implement key performance and delivery indicators (e.g. fulfillment of SLAs, License assets and their maintenance agreements).
- Facilitate the IT Service Management processes for software license management. Understand the configuration items, architecture of modules and applications within the IT Service Portfolio and solutions. Manage the License Assets, their administration, procurement and maintenance contracts across the corporate landscape.
- Together with the IT and business stakeholders, define the framework, global and local procedures, request Fulfillment, purchase and administration processes for Software License Demand Management.
- Together with the IT Commercials Department provide the necessary transparency of the costs and assets through management reporting.
- Together with the Supplier Managers provide the necessary transparency of the supplier contracts and agreements.
- Support Continual Service Improvement process and projects for the service portfolio in a continuous dialogue with IT Service Owners. Drive improvements in costs savings, technology and performance of licenses and contracts.
- Together with Service Owners of individual IT services, ensure that Software License & Service Provider contracts and Operational Level Agreements adhere to the business requirements, corporate guidelines, IT strategy and related Service Level Agreements with the business.
- Understand the IT services or solutions related to both the IT transformation plan (that is underway in the company) and to business goals & objectives and how these relate to software licenses and their translation into appropriate Service Level Agreements.
What do I need to qualify for this position?
- As a person, you are result-oriented, structured and a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills
- You are willing to take ownership and are driven by a professional curiosity
- Experience in the use of IT tools (Excel and SAP and Power Point)
- Very good English skills, both orally and in writing
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar/ comparable position
- You should be familiar with ITIL (e.g. Asset & Configuration Management).
- You should have a solid understanding of commercial operations as they apply to software & license management.
- You should feel comfortable dealing with software suppliers and license providers.
- You will need to be comfortable working across a multi-cultural global work environment
