About the position:
For our Electrical unit within the Service Technology Engineering department we are looking for a new colleague who will be part of a project analysing converter related issues.
The aim of the project is to analyse existing data from turbines and identify failure patterns. Your task will be to act as the converter expert supporting with hardware/software knowledge when defining and assessing the analyses.

What are my responsibilities?

Participate in the EU funded Romeo project together with other Siemens Gamesa colleagues and in collaboration with industrial partners.
Act as the converter expert in the project team
Support the project manager in defining and assessing analyzes
Produce quantified suggestions for improvement of maintenance on wind turbine converters

What do I need to qualify for this job?

An education within the electrical field like electrical engineer, marine engineer or electrical technician
Experience with operation, trouble shooting and service of full scale converters
Be analytical and structured
Wind turbine knowledge
Language skills in English both in speaking and writing
As a person you are a good team player, proactive and self-driven
Enjoy working in a large international organization
