For our Software Department we are looking for an engineer with both theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in control system architecture and design. The software department at kk-electronic a/s is developing embedded systems, turbine and park control applications, platform development tools, data management and presentation tools, graphical user interfaces etc. Responsibilities As Control System Architect you will be part of defining the overall architecture, design and maintenance of our wind turbine control systems/platforms. You will help bridging between our electrical control engineers and our customers or partners. Your main tasks will be: •Design, implementation and maintenance of complex control systems •Wind turbine control systems •Pitch systems – electric and hydraulic •GL2010/2012 and EN/ISO13849 Your profile You are a control/system engineer with theoretical knowledge in control system architecture and design. You have experience from a similar position and candidates with practical Wind Turbine experience will be preferred. You are an experienced team-player and are interested in cross-functional projects. You have excellent analytical skills and have the ability to work independently and in teams. It is important that you have practical experience in wind turbine (pitch, yaw and safety) systems and you can understand mechanical and hydraulic challenges.
