For our Legal department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a Contract Manager to handle contract activities primarily for our Procurement activities. You will be part of a competent team of legal counsels and contract managers located at our office in Brande. The legal department plays a key role in our organization and is globally responsible for all contractual activities in the sales and proposals, implementation and supply chain processes. As a Contract Manager you will cooperate with Siemens’ entities worldwide, and you will be fully responsible for contract matters in projects assigned to you. If you are already in a trainee attorney program, you will be able to obtain your practicing certificate while working for Siemens Wind Power A/S. What are my responsibilities? Preparation and negotiation of terms and conditions of our procurement contracts for components and projects with our international suppliers Evaluation of contractual and commercial risk profile of procurement contracts and preparation of approval documents to the management Clarification and coordination with legal counsels, procurement, project management, insurance and other specialist departments What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a legal background combined with relevant experience in an international business You have experience in preparation and negotiation of terms and conditions of different types of contracts Integral knowledge of sales, projects and commercial issues would be an asset You are a skilled negotiator with strong assertiveness and persuasion skills. Furthermore you have the ability to think through situations from an abstract conceptual perspective You have a strong personality and the necessary gravitas to communicate at all organizational levels You possess excellent English skills and you are fluent in a second European language In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
