Would you like to help us manage our Danish offshore wind assets? Join us and become Commercial Manager in our Asset Management function which is responsible for managing our investments and partnerships in all offshore wind farms in operation. As a Commercial Manager you will be a central part of the Joint Venture and Investment Support team, and you will report to the DK Portfolio Asset Manager regarding all day-to-day business matters. The team manages assets with a value of DKK +10 billion and an annual turnover of DKK +2 billion, owned in partnerships with institutional investors or solely by our Group. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You will be responsible for a wide range of commercial and partnership activities essential to successful operation of the DK wind assets, working with a broad range of stakeholders and counterparties both within our Group and externally. Based on the nature and commercial set-up of the individual operational asset, you will define and implement commercial solutions to optimise the value for us and our partners in a portfolio that spans from Denmark’s newest and largest offshore windfarm to the world’s oldest offshore windfarm. You will also be involved in a broad range of commercial, financial and legal activities related to asset management. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •manage asset-related contracts, including asset, commercial and partnership (investor) agreements and proactively manage partner relations •report on asset performance and issues both internally and externally •execute joint venture processes and ensure that we comply with partnership governance requirements •ensure cross portfolio value implementation in the DK assets •maintain effective interfaces within Wind Power in relation to our asset portfolio. Your profile You have a master’s degree (or an equivalent degree), ideally in business administration, economics, law or a related field. Proven experience with commercial, contract or project management and with partnership or joint venture management is desirable. You may also have some experience within the wind industry or related areas from a commercial position or as a management consultant. You are result-oriented, proactive and adaptable in fluid/fast-changing environments, and you have the ability to demonstrate commercial insight and strong project management skills. You are an efficient communicator, capable of establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships. You also have a high degree of business integrity and knowledge of health, safety and environment issues.
