Trial Operations, Obesity is looking for a Clinical Trial Administrator to join us.

 

About the department

In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities in compliance with global standards, regulations and business ethics.

 

In Trial Operations, Obesity we are approximately 35 highly skilled and ambitious employees.

 

It is a team of International Trial Managers, Clinical Trial Administrators and Clinical Project Managers who together are responsible for planning and conducting trials within the obesity portfolio in close collaboration with other areas within Novo Nordisk all over the world.

 

The position

As a Clinical Trial Administrator you will be an essential member of the trial management team supporting the clinical trial planning, execution and finalisation by performing administrative tasks. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Trial Master Files to ensure correct filing of clinical trial documentation, preparation of minutes from meetings and general support. You will set up and maintain shared web sites and portals used by the International Study Group for sharing trial related documents as well as contribute to the preparation of global newsletters and PowerPoint presentations.

 

Part of the job will include uploading and updating of information, indexing and Quality Control of trial documents, data tracking, KPI creation, monitoring and trending of data in our different IT systems. Furthermore you play a role in keeping track of trial budgets and supporting International Trial Managers with budget presentations. In addition you will support the trial team with ad hoc tasks as needed.

 

The position is based in Søborg, Denmark.

 

Qualifications

You preferably have a clerical background or hold a bachelor’s degree within information sciences (librarian, IT etc.) or in the field of linguistics combined with at least 2-3 years professional experience from a support function, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. You are fluent in English (writing and speaking) and experience in handling clinical trial documentation and/or working according to Good Documentation Practice would be advantageous.

 

The applicant must be an advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), have flair for using various other IT systems, be a fast learner with proven ability to learn new IT tools.

 

Furthermore you have Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables and graphs) and are capable of working with large data sets and multiple data sources. Also experience in data tracking, KPI creation and monitoring and knowledge of other systems such as SAP, Qlik Sense, and ACCESS is an advantage.

 

You have a structured approach and high quality mind-set with an eye for details. You have a strong customer service mind-set, are able to work independently in a structured and pro-active manner. It is important that you can manage deadlines and work with multiple priorities using good communication and collaboration skills.
