One ERP is one of the boldest and most ambitious projects that Danfoss has ever launched. Our mission is to roll-in 150 legal entities to one IT platform that has been customized to meet the Danfoss global business need. As a Transportation Management Consultant, you will serve as a “business consultant” driving the implementation of Descartes Transportation Management System. To be considered successful, you must be very knowledgeable and have strong end to end business process understanding and experience with Freight and Transportation Management. As part of the Transportation Management team, you will be working together with a team of 6 international colleagues from Danfoss and our external partner consultants from Descartes.
 
The One ERP team is primarily working out of Flensburg, Germany.
 
Key player in implementation tasks from start to end
You are expected to perform all tasks in the implementation cycle, starting from business process analysis, design, to functional testing, assistance with user testing, to co-ordination of training and post-live support
 
Your tasks will include to:

• Advice business counterparts with best practice solutions
• Train & support process experts and Shipping functions
• Ensure Freight Provider processes to be aligned with freight agreements and business processes
• Proactively follow-up with 3PL Freight Providers on event update
• Testing and documentation 

Solution driven Transportation Management Consultant
Most likely, you have solid background within Transportation and Logistics with an excellent ability to engage and interact with business partners and with a strong understanding of transportation setup and processes. You are process driven and project focused, with a great motivation in analyzing logistic transportation processes. Preferably you have experience with SAP/IT implementation from an international organization and knowledge in analyzing transportation processes and KPIs.
 
On a more personal note, you are positive, open minded, sensitive to cultural differences and a strong decision-maker. You possess strong business processes and consulting skills in terms of ability to present in front of senior business partners, lead workshops and communicate with impact. When challenged, you are able to respond in an engaged and enquiring manner and you do not act defensive. You are not easily intimidated. At the same time, you possess good basic project management or coordination skills, which allow you to run in a timely fashion the scheduled activities and keep continuous contact with the local stakeholders from the legal entities. You have proficiency in written and spoken English, and you are particularly articulate and distinctively understandable.
