Climate Test Engineer for Full-Scale Offshore Components

For quite some time, FORCE Technology has been a major supplier of services, testing and inspection of offshore components for the wind turbine industry. To maintain this position, FORCE Technology has entered into strategic cooperation with "Lindoe Offshorea Renewables Centre" – LORC, under which a new and spectacular technological infrastructure will be developed and constructed. The mission is to provide Danish industry with unique and prominent facilities for testing and demonstration of technologies involved in harvesting renewable energy at sea. This collaboration focuses on offshore energy mainly, but the facilities will apply to everyone in Danish Industry in connection with development of other energy plants and major industrial products in general. FORCE is looking for a test engineer within the main area as follows: •An engineer for Large-scale climate and humidity chamber for testing of components and systems With the construction of these new facilities and technical competences, which you will partake in defining, developing and introducing to the market, we will have the opportunity of implementing large-scale development, testing and demonstration of technologies for harvesting renewable energy at sea. This will extend FORCE Technology's services to the Danish industry with services that will be unique at the world market. The main objective is to reduce the Cost of Energy. Professional qualifications •You have educated or trained to become an engineer or the equivalent •You hold experience with test structures and implementation of large scale test and perhaps also some practical experience •You may have executed tests of other full scale components •You hold knowledge of and experience with components used in offshore wind turbines including foundations, TP’s and towers for offshore wind turbines •You are used to working with FEM, Math CAD or other software to simulate test Personal qualifications •You are analytical and structured •You work independently and results-oriented •You easily adapt to change in an ever changing world •You are outgoing and have easy customer contact •You are fluent in Danish and / or English, written and spoken •We enjoy an informal tone of communication We offer •A state-of-the-art and one-of-a-kind test facility, with unique professional development possibilities •Good working conditions and a salary based on your qualifications.
