Would you like to become a change agent for refrigeration technology? Are you passionate to use the power of modelling and simulation to solve real problems in the fluid mechanics domain? Do you enjoy working in a multi-disciplined and global environment? Then you are the person we are looking for to join our Innovation and Technology department working from our offices either in Kolding or Nordborg. Technical expertise within Fluid Mechanics and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) As CFD expert, you will be responsible for applying and sustaining technical expertise in the disciplines of Fluid Mechanics and CFD supporting projects on the areas of Engineering, New Product Development and Technology Development. Your technical expertise will contribute to identifying optimal solutions and reducing the time-to-market on new products. Your areas of responsibility will include: •CFD analysis of single-phase flow including both compressible and non-compressible media •Using and developing methods for assessing two-phase behaviour of fluid •Definition of calculation methods and interpretation of simulation results (e.g. turbulence modelling, meshing, boundary conditions, steady vs transient, etc.) •Flow calculations to estimate capacity and efficiency for refrigeration components and systems •Combining expertise on thermodynamics and refrigeration to define concepts and simulations. •Identification of ideas for new products/solutions using domain expertise •Active collaboration with external partners (universities, research institutes) Experience as Simulation Specialist or Researcher You have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. (mechanical/physics science) combined with some years’ experience working as Simulation Specialist or Researcher, either in the industry or in research centres. Furthermore, we expect the following experience: •Strong and proven expertise in modelling & simulations solving complex problems •Applied expertise on thermodynamics •Extensive experience selecting and operating simulation platforms (e.g. Fluent, Ansys, StarCCM+, OpenFOAM, etc.) •Programming experience (CFD scripts) •Effective on data analysis and visualisation •Effective team player and developing knowledge communities For further information about the position, please contact Senior Consultant Pia Cwiek Stanhardt on +45 23 74 65 88 .
