Manufacturing & Global Procurement Global Procurement Powertrain & Nacelles
Vestas Global Procurement is overall responsible for all supply chain management activities within Vestas Wind System A/S, including leading cross-functional category teams, negotiations, cost out initiatives, category strategy development and implementation, quality and delivery performance, supplier relationship management and supplier account management.

You will lead the team Nacelle Load & Enclosure, where we currently are 19 colleagues responsible for sourcing of the Vestas' global need of critical Nacelles components. We are part of a Global Procurement Department where the direct team is based in Denmark, China, India and Spain. Other Purchasing colleagues are also based at various locations around the globe. With the Nacelle Load & Enclosure team, you will lead an ambitious team, where your effort and ability to create results makes a difference and has a direct business impact.

Responsibilities

Lead a Procurement Department of 19 people, including Organisational Development and Talent Development
Lead a cross functional Category team and develop and deploy a strategy that supports the overall Vestas strategy
Be an active part of the Powertrain & Nacelles Management team, and represent this towards internal and external Stakeholders
Be an Ambassador for Global Procurement towards internal Stakeholders and External Suppliers
Be a Procurement Professional with an extensive toolbox and the desire and drive to expand this toolbox

Qualifications

You have 8+ years of Procurement Experience, and with leading cross-functional and demanding Stakeholders
You have 8+ years of Leadership Experience, leading cultural diverse teams in various positions
You have a strong theoretical background within Procurement, Engineering, Finance or similar
You have extensive experience of budget and KPI/target ownership

Competencies

You have personal drive and the ambition to make things better
You are open-minded and have an end-to-end value chain mind-set
You possess strong analytical skills
You are a natural leader with excellent people skills
