We are looking for a Service Manager responsible for overseeing infrastructure service delivery from our Client Services & Infrastructure area. About the department Client Services comprises of approximately 11 employees. The department is characterised by a good energy and passion about the services that we manage. We have daily communication with users, colleagues and stakeholders across the global organisation as well as with vendors. We work closely with our sister department IT Infrastructure to provide a broad range of infrastructure services to the global organisation. We are located in Bagsværd, Denmark. The position The job consists of two areas. As Senior Service Manager overseeing delivery of IT infrastructure services you will work across the two infrastructure departments, coordinating and monitoring how we present, promote and deliver the services we are responsible for. These services range from the end-user facing services such as desktop, Skype for Business, mail, telepresence and videoconferencing, to the underlying infrastructure services such as active directory, LAN/WAN, Citrix, SAN, fileshares, servers, databases, and network. The other part of the position is managing the vendor providing end-user hardware; a vendor with a high degree of exposure to end-users and thus a vendor you need to ensure delivers and meets all expectations. In this role you will also ensure internal processes are aligned and, to the degree required, explained to the vendor. You are expected to actively help mature the way we do IT service management, in particular within service catalogue definition and management, but also performance management, communication and expectation management. You will work closely with the other Service Managers within infrastructure services and with the IT Architects responsible for the underlying technologies. You will help break down silos across technological areas and you will communicate independently with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation throughout Novo Nordisk globally. Furthermore, you will provide input to infrastructure projects about how services are defined and communicated. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a Master degree in IT, Computing, or relevant field, and has 8-10 years’ experience from working with IT service management or infrastructure in a global setting. You have a proven track record of driving and delivering infrastructure services and your career has supplied you with a sound business understanding which makes you able to read the requirements of the business and of stakeholders. You have worked professionally with ITIL processes, have a passion for IT service management, and you have strong vendor management skills As you will operate in a multi-stakeholder environment, you need excellent communication and change management skills, and you have an ability to build a network in an international organisation. As a person you are considered a strong driver, structured, pro-active, structured, and are team oriented. We expect that you are service-minded, thrive in a busy environment, and naturally take the initiative. In addition, you bring a healthy sense of humour to work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you have proficiency in written and spoken English. Desired start date is 1 November or earlier. First interviews take place second half of August.
