Jobbeskrivelse As Associate Director for Large Scale Manufacturing (LSM), Purification, at Biogen Idec’s site in Hilleroed, you will be part of the LSM Management team and contribute to setting strategic direction for the area. You will be responsible for all phases of the purification processes (construction, commissioning, validation and production). The LSM purification area (65 FTEs) works 24/7 in 2-shifts, and you will provide technical/scientific leadership for activities ranging from column chromatography, virus and ultra-filtration to final drug substance dispensing. You will cooperate with Manufacturing Science, Engineering and Quality teams to lead downstream related process improvement, process validation, and process characterization activities; and you will be coaching, mentoring, and managing downstream purification teams/staff by establishing performance standards, evaluating performance, and determining employee responsibilities. ?
