Join Siteimprove’s Legal team in central Copenhagen as our new Associate Corporate Counsel if you want to be part of an exciting and innovative IT-company and you feel confident in playing a key role as legal counselor to a rapidly growing global business.
As Associate Corporate Counsel in Siteimprove, you will be joining our legal team of 6 dedicated people based in USA and Denmark. The legal department was founded in 2015 and with an age average around 30 years we are in more than one sense a young team where an optimistic can-do attitude and an agile approach to the ever-changing palette of daily tasks is highly appreciated.
Responsibilities
A substantial part of the job will consist of you reviewing, negotiating, and drafting agreements for commercial transactions (with customers as well as vendors) in our European markets. Essential functions within this role furthermore include:
Assisting the European sales team as needed with the negotiation and closing of contract and data processing agreements.
Coordinate with key stakeholders from across the organization (e.g., Finance, Customer Support, IT and Information Security).
Devise practical, business-oriented solutions that will mitigate risks to levels acceptable to management
Maintain and update various legal templates for the European markets
Attend meetings, conferences, and other company functions, as necessary
What We Require of You
Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Master degree within Law (Cand.jur, Cand.merc.jur or equivalent).
Excellent understanding of commercial issues
Strong collaboration skills and easily form relations in a multicultural environment
Ability to operate in a fast paced, agile working environment with quick turnaround times
