Skills You have a solid technical background probably with a degree within civil engineering (IT), computer science or similar. You must be able to independently program in C#, C++ og HTML (and others) and work with an MS database and server environments and network. You generally have good knowledge and experience with the following: • Visual Studio • .NET framework • Subversion • VMWare • Confluence / JIRA • Zendesk • MSSQL • IIS • Applications • Web Services • NT Services • Websites You probably have a few years of work experience; you can also have acquired this experience, during your studies, and therefore newly graduated are also welcome to apply. Languages You are fluent in English (oral and verbally). Knowledge of Spanish or French, will be considered an advantage. Work description As an application specialist, you will have a central role in key tasks regarding the development and communication of knowledge, regarding implementation and use of the company’s products and systems in the customers’ processes. You will have direct contact with customers and consult, teach, support and do trouble shooting primarily from Copenhagen, but at times directly at the client’s offices. Therefore, there will be a fair amount of travelling in connection to the position close to 70 days per year. Varying from a few days to a whole week or two weeks at a time. When the project requires consecutive weeks of time spent at a client, you will sometimes not be able to travel back during the weekends. This is something you have to be aware of from the beginning, and be okay with it. On the technical side, you will need to test and document new software releases, handle user data on the customers’ websites, and make teaching material, monitor servers (including backups etc.). Actual programming will primarily be in connection with “bug fixing”.
