Key responsibilities
- Responsible for availability and performance of applications, in particular driving incident and problem RCAs to cost-effective solutions
- Responsible for managing the support organisation and working as the escalation point for Support issues while ensuring SLAs are met
- Providing specialist knowledge for their application to all stakeholders
- Partnering with other Application Managers and Service Managers to resolve incidents and problems across system landscape
- Providing input in design and functional specifications
- Producing deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assisting in post implementation support
- Partnering with business liaisons and technical teams to understand and define system goals, issues and technical system requirements
- Partnering with designers and development team to system functionality is built to a high quality
- Responsible for ensuring that the system lifecycle is followed and all IT governance processes and procedures are adhered to
- Working on upgrades - hardware, software or operating systems, interfaces, performance tuning, analysing data and trends
- Responsible for initiation of improvement projects, working with Service Management CSI team to ensure appropriate prioritisation
