We are looking for a UX manager to lead our UX team in Copenhagen. About the job As a UX manager, you will be running our operational UX team, who are dedicated to creating rich web user experiences. You will be guiding and prioritizing assignments for the team, which consists of UX Designers, UX Researchers and a Visual Designer all based in DK. Besides managing the team, you will also be delivering some of the design process and design implementations yourself. You will be working closely with product managers, core developers, architects, front-end developers and with our UX architect. Your responsibilities •Lead the operational UX team •Drive successful implementation of our UX strategy •Management of the team: staffing, resource allocation, team moderation and performance reviews. •Communicate progress and direction to teams •Lead group brainstorms •Plan and implement user-centered design processes •Create storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, visual mockups and style guides to support a rich user experience •Stay up-to-date on current and emerging trends, standards, and research •Maintain focus on internal best practices, designing, and documenting in specifications •Work with product managers and developers to keep work and product deadlines on track Your qualifications •At least 7+ years’ experience as a User Experience designer •Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphical Design, Technical Communications, Industrial Design, etc •Have provided management, leadership, training, and mentorship to other designers •Strong in creating mockups and interactive prototypes •Deep understanding of UX practices in UX architecture, user interface design and user experience •Strong verbal and written communication skills in English •Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time •You have a structured mindset and the ability to create high level overviews for stakeholders •Good at solving complex problems •Strong attention to details and quality •Be a confident presenter It will be an advantage if you have had experience with any of the following: •Experience with digital platforms beyond the browser – mobile, audio interfaces, multi-touch, widgets, desktop software, UI components and controls •Visual design skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suit How to apply Please upload your CV and Cover Letter before November 15, 2015.
