Would you like to help change the way Danfoss communicates, collaborates, and works? Then you could be our new Unified Communications Engineer at the Global Unified Communications Team within Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). We support global communication solutions such as Microsoft Lync 2013, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Aastra MXOne, Video Conferencing, and more. As part of the Infrastructure Operations Group within DGIT, we are close partners with the Network Team, Server Team, Enterprise Applications, Desktop and others to provide these critical solutions to our global colleagues. Our team is situated in both Denmark (Nordborg), and the United States (Ames). As we are a truly global support team, occasional regional and global travel is required. Ensure skilled IT support and participate in global projects and implementation Your focus will be on providing support for Lync, Cisco and Aastra voice platforms. Moreover, you will participate in projects and implementations especially with focus on Lync, and act as an advisor and consultant for IT colleagues and customers from around the globe. A customer-oriented unified communications engineer As a minimum, you hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and you have working experience from a similar job. You have extensive knowledge of PBX configuration and VoIP and TDM-based communication systems and working knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN, QoS models, as they apply to Unified Communications technologies. Additionally, you have knowledge within Windows Server Technologies and PowerShell. On a more personal note, you have the energy and drive for performance, and you thrive on giving that bit of extra to ensure outstanding customer service. You have a structured approach to your work and take on responsibility. Keeping a sense of perspective and an adequate ability to sit tight and keep calm in a hectic workday with many deadlines are some of your strong suits, and due to your strong drive, you know exactly how to focus your efforts and make the necessary decisions.
