Do you have the technical skills and commercial flair to transform our customers’ spoken and latent needs into internet connected product specifications and help position us as market leader within hydronic smart heating? And would acting as the missing link between R&D and sales appeal to you? Then you could be the new Product Manager for our Portfolio & ERC Business in Danfoss Residential Heating.). We are a team of competent and dedicated professionals, providing technical support to a strong and growing business unit in a market where energy efficiency and urbanisation are key drivers. You will be managing a product portfolio with unique features and a high market potential. Secure optimum product portfolio and create internet-connected products You will become part of the product portfolio team consisting of three Product Managers, all of which have different product categories. Your main focus will be to develop, implement and drive product road map to secure best-in-class heating components for OEMs and Danfoss systems. You will work closely together with the sales organisation, external stakeholders and product development in order to create internet-connected products and as such define and drive Danfoss Hydronic Smart Home Offering in Residential Heating. You will secure an up-to-date, strong and clear product portfolio as well as technical knowledge within the area, and you will assist in technical support when needed. Key tasks are: •Collecting and evaluating customer needs and insights into product and solution specifications •Identifying and defining relevant markets and market segments •Developing technical literature and training material supporting your area of responsibility •Conducting training for relevant customers and stakeholders •Defining crisp and clear value proposition for products defined in area of responsibility •Securing alignment with the overall RH strategies Customer insight, business-driven and commercial mind-set You have a background as MSc in Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, you have extensive experience from a similar position and a proven track record within portfolio management – you have gained extensive knowledge of connected products, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of European heating systems. You have a keen eye for details and creative solutions, and you have a talent for cooperating with many different stakeholders. With your global mind-set and excellent communication skills, you are able to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organisation. You are business and customer-oriented and a team player. As a person, you are well-organised, have excellent analytical skills and are self-motivated. You are dedicated to creating impact, and you do what it takes to “get the job done”.
