For Global Training in Service Wind Power we are looking for a Technical Training Developer with special focus on High Voltage, Switchgear, TRAFO, Operation during installation and Operation & maintenance to secure compliance in the service business. The Training Developer will initiate, identify and develop training processes and training material targeting latest Siemens Technology (like the 6.0 MW wind turbines) together with R&D in Siemens Wind Power. The R&D Training Development team in Global Training is responsible for ensuring that the technicians in Project and Service are trained correctly when installing and servicing Siemens wind turbines in the field. The team consists of Technical and Safety Training Developer Specialists. What are your responsibilities? · Identify and develop training for technicians. · Training methodology on subjects where you are the defined expert (within the high voltage area). · Execute and actively participate in the execution of development activities performed by the training project team. · Keep up to date with the development in relevant training methodology and Research & Development in the Product Development Process which have significance for technical and safety training. · Accountable for your own training concept in terms of training methodology, regulations and legislation. · Ensure best practice on a global basis in training methodology and local methodology implementation according to region and country specific needs. · Participate and ensure global development of blended learning for technical and safety training. · Gain practical experience where knowledge is needed as subject matter expert Up to 60 days of travelling per year is expected for this role. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are a licensed electrician or hold a Master’s degree in electrical engineering. Proven High Voltage, Switchgear and TRAFO experience is a must, preferably combined with relevant certificate(s). · You have experience with the development of adult training material and instruction of technical staff (with documented results) · You show good communication and collaboration skills since you will be interacting with all levels of the organization and across different cultures. Fluent in English, orally as well as in writing · You have knowledge of relevant national and international legislation and experience in writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements. · You must possess drive, be persistent, take initiatives and be able to make independent decisions · As a person you are structured and have a detail-oriented approach to your assignments. You understand the importance of ensuring safe methods, precision and quality in your work. If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways, your application is just as well appreciated.
