For our market unit Onshore’s head office in Denmark, we are looking for a Team Lead, Equipment Development to head the Design team within our Equipment Management department based in Brande. The department’s key role is to ensure the availability of installation tools as well as transport and lifting equipment and to develop equipment in close cooperation with the stakeholders. Furthermore, the team functions as an internal service provider and rents out equipment to Siemens project sites, both onshore and offshore. What are my responsibilities? · Developing new designs and reviewing existing designs. · Preparing various forecasts and resource planning. · Preparing requirement and purchase specifications for the transportation and lifting of equipment. · Making SOWs and following up with external consultants. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree, combined with at least 5+ years of experience from mechanical or structural engineering. · Preferably, you have experience with international projects, transportation and lifting and structural design of various machinery and production equipment. · You are independent, result-oriented and have strong analytical skills, and you are a dedicated team player capable of motivating the members of your team. · You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills, both orally and in writing. · You are familiar with 3D, CAD and project management. Travel activity of approx. 20 days per year.. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
