Would you like to further mature and extend our .NET based platform which supports and controls the pump assembly in Grundfos and become Systems Specialist in the near future? You will join Development Factory – Manufacturing (DF-M) - an independent focus area in our global IT organisation. We develop, deliver and support solutions for Grundfos’ production lines in more than 20 production sites all over the world. We have developed a portfolio of solutions covering MES, Marking systems, Test systems and Quality data systems. We are currently 15 people located in our competence centres in Bjerringbro and Shanghai. You report to Global IS Department Head, Arne Birk: “We constantly aim at doing even better in terms of system development, by living up to the Grundfos core value of being relentlessly ambitious,” says Arne. The job: As Systems Developer you will be working with partners – both locally and globally and be part of a team of 8 colleagues. The setup is a SCRUM based model, and we wish to ensure the quality of both existing and new software through the use of defined processes, unit test and continuous integration. In the developer toolset you will e.g. find Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. Your main tasks will be to further develop the platform to fulfil new requirements, maintain and mature our existing .NET based platform. Further, you participate in transferring the developed solutions to our installation and support organisation. Another task is to help improve/mature the competences, processes and methods in the department. “The challenge here is to develop, mature and extend our .NET based platform to an even higher level and to become the systems specialist and our go-to-person within system- and application architecture,” says Arne. Qualifications: You hold a Master of Science or a Data Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with software development on the .NET platform and preferably experience with production- and automation processes. Knowledge of unit test, build scripts and continuous integration is a plus. You are committed to being an active part in improving and maturing our processes on system- and application architecture and design, and you see yourself as Systems Specialist within 1-2 years. You have experience with iterative development processes (SCRUM), and you continuously focus on improvements.
