As part of the Technology Communication team, you will be joining a team with an open culture, profound knowledge and empowerment to act. We design and maintain communication products for Kamstrup’s smart metering solutions, primarily based on wireless technology. As Cellular System Engineer, you will play an important role in project teams developing the embedded software solutions for the communication technology of tomorrow, with the opportunity of influencing the design of the overall solutions.
A job with focus on future cellular communication solutions Global presence in Smart Metering solutions is a core stone in Kamstrup’s strategy, and you will play an important role in fulfilling that strategy, by developing state of the art wireless software solutions for smart metering. Our products are sold globally in large scale deployments, and therefore parameters as performance, robustness and maintainability are keys for success.
You will be working end-to-end on our communication solutions based on cellular technology, from specification, design, implementation, test, deployment and maintenance. In the Technology Communication team, you will work closely with leading specialists within this field. The work will be done in close co-operation with the rest of the Kamstrup organization, modem chipset vendors, mobile network operators and customers. The primary cellular technology in scope is LTE – especially with focus on NB1 and CAT M1.

It is a requirement that you:
• Have at least five years’ experience in the wireless technology domain, including solid experience in embedded software development in C• Have an engineering degree to support it, most likely a B.SC or M.SC• Are fluent in English – both orally and written
Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in the domain of cellular modems and network infrastructure.
