About the department
Inbound Supply Support is part of the Sourcing Organisation (SoOp) responsible for planning, purchasing, distribution and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into the production worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure reliable supply of quality products (raw and packaging materials) in regulatory compliance at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally. You will join an international and dynamic team of 10 employees, consisting of dedicated supply chain analysts, project- and supply chain process managers. Our team is responsible for supporting the supply chain across SoOp in becoming more robust, effective and efficient while ensuring compliance.
The position
As Supply Chain Project Manager your main responsibility will be to drive projects optimising our inbound supply processes, e.g. planning or forecasting. You will manage projects that support the departments’ strategy and drive various process improvements focus on optimising the departments supply chain process. You will utilise the available technologies, e.g. RPA, VMI etc. to automise the processes. In this role, you will enjoy a high degree of independence in your work and you will get a chance to work with many different colleagues across our organisation. Your success is dependent on your collaboration and communication skills and your ability to understand your stakeholders as well as the processes and gather relevant data.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master's degree (i.e. in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management) and you have +4 years of experience within Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management, where you have driven optimisation initiatives within supply chain/logistics.
As a person, you have a strong analytical mind-set, change management skills, and you know how to get to the core of complex problems and make them understandable for others. You have the ability to work independently, develop your own expertise, apply theoretical tools and structure your own work. You possess good communication skills and are keen on coordinating and navigating between many stakeholders in a busy environment. Furthermore, you are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. Lastly, you speak and write English fluently.
