Job ID: 234326 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Part time (8-25 hours per week) For our Offshore Project Management department in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a bright and self-motivated student primarily to support the IT tools used in our Project Management Office. In this role you will be part of a team that performs risk management, handles internal projects and IT Content. You will be working with our internal project managers and our commercial project managers as well as colleagues from other areas of Wind Power and IT to resolve complex interdependent issues. Maintain 4 internal databases based on Access/MS SQL Server currently used in operations Support end users with change request needed in the Access/MS SQL Server databases Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of the existing internal business tools Work towards optimizing the performance and usage of the Access/MA SQL Server databases Create documentation for existing IT tools Participate in the further development and improvement of these tools What do I need to qualify for this job? You are enrolled in an IT or IT related program (3rd or 4th semester – bachelor; or 1st year of masters). Please attach your grade transcripts and write the expected graduation date in your CV You feel confident working with MS SQL Server Database and Access Database. You understand the SQL language - basics of HTML and Sharepoint would also be appreciated. You know at least one programming language - VBA is preferred. You have an understanding of Requirements Engineering. You are comfortable working independently, enjoy planning and performing your own tasks to get to needed results.
