Your responsibilities as a structural engineer
In your structural engineering role in our growing department, your main focus will be on designing, consultancy, inspection and quality assessment on projects for a wide variety of clients. Your expertise within structural engineering will be a valuable addition to our team, where you together with other specialists and experts will ensure that Ramboll’s solutions keeps being among the best on the market.

The collaboration with other specialist areas than your own will give you a unique insight into the complexities that exist in large scale industrial projects. By becoming a part of Ramboll, your day-to-day life will be characterised by professional back-and-forth, where both your professional and personal growth is key. Besides your highly skilled colleagues in the Industry department, you will be part of a large and strong network of structural engineers throughout the organisation.

Besides your internal collaboration, you will also be in dialogue with both new and existing clients when identifying their needs and wishes. You are thereby ensuring that our clients get tailored solutions that solves their challenges and helps them reach their targets.

Concretely your day could contain something like this:

• Design and project management of small and large projects
• Contribute to the professional development of the department’s offerings
• Training and mentoring of the department’s lesser experienced colleagues

You and your competencies
You have between 3 and 7 years of experience and a degree within structural engineering and a solid background within the field, working on industrial projects of varying complexity and size. In your previous work you have worked with design and consultancy, making you both a trusted colleague and trusted advisor to the clients. Experience within 3D design, BIM and REVIT is a strong advantage.

Your ability to keep a calm overview and keeping track of details and the execution of the various project stages.

It will be an advantage if you previously have been working on international projects as well, however this is not a prerequisite.

Join the Industry department
You will be a part of the Industrial Projects department based at our office in Vejle. We are currently 14 dedicated and passionate department members all managing our clients’ industrial building projects from start to finish on projects throughout the world.

All services are both rendered as independent disciplines and part of a broader consultancy service. This means that we have close strategic collaboration with local sub-consultants and with many departments within Ramboll – all with their unique expertise.
