- Business Development - Denmark - Hillerød Are you looking for a highly independent job where you can make an impact on Novo Nordisk’s strategy and business development activities within Device R&D? Then you could be the ambitious Strategy Analyst we are looking for. About the department As part of the Device R&D (DRD), we are responsible for strategic planning processes, portfolio management of device projects and various internal strategic analysis. Additionally, we coordinate and support lean activities and apply patient insights to drive innovation activities. Your new department consists of 7 people and you can look forward to becoming part of an international setup where you will work with utterly skilled and engaged colleagues. The position Your objective is to support the DRD management team with project portfolio management activities and with the strategic framework of innovation directions for the portfolio of research projects. It is also your task to participate in our business strategy development and perform ad-hoc business analysis for the SVP of DRD. You will also have an important role in building business cases based on new business opportunities as well as you evaluate the strategic fit of innovation and new technology. You can look forward to have a broad range of stakeholders across functions, including senior management level within e.g. Product Supply (Manufacturing) and Global Marketing. By driving successful business development activities and by taking our project portfolio management initiatives and early innovation to the next level, you will achieve success in this position. Moreover, your success will be measured by your ability to develop new models and tools for strategic analyses, business cases and project portfolio management. Qualifications You hold an MSc e.g. in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar disciplines preferably supported by some business education (e.g. MBA, HD). Irrespectively, you have 3-5 years of experience from a medical tech or high tech industry, which could derive from consultancy, pre-sales function, R&D or business development area. In your career you have acquired skills for stakeholder management, and you are confident conducting business analyses, developing strategies and managing project portfolios. On a personal level, you are known for your positive and energetic attitude when dealing with challenges. You can think outside the box when needed, and with your ambitious attitude and high level of drive you get things done. Moreover, you have strong analytical and communication skills plus a structured and practical approach to your tasks enabling you to deliver in due time.
