About the Position
For our Technology Evaluation and Innovation Strategy team, we are looking for a Strategic Project Manager / Strategist.
As Strategic Project Manager / Strategist you will be working on long term innovation projects related to our long-term portfolio development. Projects will be dealing with renewable energy technologies that will play a major role in strengthening our future technology portfolio. The technologies under revision can be quite broad, reaching from core turbine scope to adjacent scope areas, such as logistics or other enabling technologies.
This is a function that is allocated within our CTO organization, interfacing in all technical domains across our global development organization.
What are my responsibilities?
As Strategic Project Manager / Strategist your key areas of responsibilities are:
Strategic Project Management:
- Evaluation of new technologies, outlining the general and specific business value of those technologies
- Orchestrating technical and market due diligence work
- Interaction on trade fairs and conferences for trend scouting
Roadmap Management:
- Administration of the innovation roadmap in our organization
- Support in aligning the innovation roadmap across the organization
- Support in building up a governance structure to manage the innovation roadmap
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You probably have a master's degree in business administration or engineering
- You have 3-5 year experience in business development or similar areas
- Ideally you have been working in a management consultancy for some years. Having worked abroad is a plus
- Ideally you have been working in the wind industry before. Experience in energy management is a plus
- You have a proven track record in compiling and presenting excellent reports with solid conclusions and recommendations to all management levels. Your analytical skill are outstanding
- Your English proficiency is at a professional level, both orally and in writing
