Do you want to drive the development of the Vestas Value Chain in relation to logistic-,change- and master data management, do you like to work across functions in a truly global organization, then this job is the right one for you. We are looking for a highly skilled logistics and product data management specialist with extensive experience in this field on a strategic; tactical and operational level. Configuration & Cost Management is part of Industrialization in Vestas Technology & Service Solutions (TSS), and responsible for developing the full Vestas Value Chain capability to provide timely, cost-effective and customer driven configurations. This is done by industrializing and optimizing the Vestas Value Chain trough optimal use of PDM/PLM-tools and transparent fact-based change, master data, configuration and cost controlling. Being in control of the logistics, engineering changes and master data in the early faces of product development is pivotal for getting a fast and predictable new product introduction, and is furthermore key in avoidance of scrap and production stop. The Engineering Change Management (ECM) department is Vestas' competence and excellence center for logistics, ECM and master data, responsible for integrating key-stakeholders across the value chain and setting the IT-systemand governance setup. Our highly motivated team of competent employees are by being part of the new turbine mark-upgrades driving the cross functional way of working, and trough collaboration across the value chain securing continuous improvement in live learning loops of PDM & PLM setup. In this position you will as part of the ECM department be leading the development of the logistics, engineering change and master data setup having the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: Drive cross-functional approach in improving the logistic setup for new turbine mark-upgrades with focus on IT-system setup in relation to master data-,change- and materials handling. Lead integration of the value chain through further development of our change and master data processes Drive integration and further development of our PDM- , PLM- and ERP IT infrastructure, together with main stakeholders in the value chain Participate in developing product master data processes, IT-systems and governance setup. Support the new MK-upgrades with transparent early planning of new and discontinued items Lead master data & engineering change reporting to support new turbine mark-upgrades with transparency on operational and financial performance, with special focus on supporting our 8MW platform. Participate in development of standardized reporting setup (change, master data), ensure automation of reporting through PLM-tools and applications Lead development of engineering change management governance setup and IT-system infrastructure Qualifications: You have an educational background, BA or MSc in logistics/supply chain management or engineering Minimum of 5 years working experience You have experience in working as a team member of larger projects. Experience in working with PDM/PLM IT-tools as Pro-E, MathCad, ERP-systems (Infor, SAP) Experience in working with master data, purchase and logistics in a global setup. Competencies: Fluent in English – both oral and written. Expert in IT systems/tools. Ability to work in multiple systems: SAP, INFOR-XA, ECM, SAS or other data analysis tools As a person you have great cooperation skills; are service minded and have a positive mindset Ability to work on a strategic, tactical and operational level High analytical skills, working in a structured way, good at keeping the focus on the details while at the same time maintaining the greater picture of your work.
