Better Collective is an international, award-winning company working to give punters and players a better and more secure iGaming experience. We are producing outstanding sports betting content and iGaming products that go far beyond the usual standards.

We are now on the lookout for an experienced SEO Performance Manager to create & execute SEO strategies for iGaming content on major online newspapers and media sites across the globe. You’ll manage on- and off-page factors to boost the performance of the media sites, setting content standards for journalists, spreading best practices and ensuring that the traffic on the media sections we control continue to show strong performance and grow month by month.   

THE ROLE

You’ll own the SEO strategy and execution on strategic media sites we partner with, acting as both a specialist and project manager in SEO. This means you’ll be a key stakeholder in the content production process of iGaming content, from keyword & search engine landscape research, to content element specification and prioritisation.

You’ll identify ideal places on the media sites to host the content and drive internal link placements that can help to boost the organic performance of the content. To ensure execution of your analyses and research, you’ll communicate and ensure SEO best practices are met during and after content roll-out. You’ll identify optimal communication channels with the content producers, outline SEO tasks, ensure they are completed according to plan, as well as review and approve of all optimisation work.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• SEO Specialist or SEO Lead/Manager, seasoned in technical & content SEO as well as in link building, but with a particular focus on content and organic performance analysis
• Is ready to take full ownership of an SEO strategy, from conception to execution
• Open and able to explain sometimes complex SEO findings in a simple way to non-SEO/non-marketing people
• Excellent use and understanding of the English language
• Moderate to deep knowledge of the gambling industry
• Moderate to long project management experience, leading project members from start to execution of at least one bigger SEO project
  
  EXPERIENCE
• +2 years of hands-on SEO experience, on- and off-page, with a proven track record
• Demonstrable knowledge of most common on- and off-page optimisation factors in SEO
• Technical SEO expertise on intermediate or higher level; has crawled websites before and worked with common on-page factors, such as internal linking structure and search engine directives
• Demonstrable knowledge of market-leading SEO tools
  
  REQUIRED SKILLS

• A keyword research tool of choice, such as Keywordtool.io
• An SEO link tool of choice, such as Majestic, Ahrefs or Moz
• A crawling tool of choice, such as Screaming Frog or Oncrawl
• A ranking tool of choice, such as GetSTAT or Moz

• An page speed tool of choice, such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Google Lighthouse, Webpagetest.org or Pingdom Tools
