Would you like to provide technical safety support within exploration and production of oil and natural gas? Join us and become the Senior Technical Safety Engineer in Technical Safety, which is responsible for the technical integrity of assets and future DONG operated fields in the Danish sector. The department is a part of Exploration & Production which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility On a day-to-day basis, you provide advice to Siri operations and support to the Solsort project on technical safety issues. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •ensure that technical safety issues relevant within the FEED stage of design have been addressed and that technical safety deliverables for the Solsort project are specified, prepared, reviewed and finalised including philosophies, safety studies and risk assessments •provide support to the Siri Complex with risk assessments, hazard identification etc, as required by the manager of Technical Safety •support the Technical Safety Team Lead in the production of safety and health cases and supporting documentation as required for Danish Offshore Safety Act Paragraph 27, 28 and 29 applications. Your profile You have an education in science or engineering and extensive experience in the oil and gas industry within operations and/or from a contractor. Moreover, you have relevant experience from offshore oil and gas projects, preferably designed according to North Sea design codes and standards. Knowledge of legislative requirements and industry practice relating to technical safety is required. Furthermore, you have experience in some of the following areas: safety cases, hazard identification, QRA, safety studies and/or the development of safety critical elements and performance standards. As a person, you are a self-motivated team player with the strength to execute. You have solid communication skills and are fluent in English.
