Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S is looking for a Senior Project Manager Vegetable Oil and Starch process plants In Alfa Laval, we are further growing our business within area of vegetable oil, biodiesel and starch technology. We are now strengthening our organization with a senior project manager with central base in Copenhagen. For this purpose, we are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager. Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a global organization committed to deliver professional project management and engineering within a wide range of applications and industries. As a Senior Project Manager in the E&S Vegetable Oil & Starch technology, you should have a relevant engineering background and a good project management track record. Key tasks • Project management of complex global vegetable oil & starch projects (process plants) • Be the direct contact to our customers and sales companies during execution, securing contracts and financial results • Ensure that projects are executed efficient and reported in accordance with our project execution model 6 Basics and that we work according to our LEAN engineering workflow principles • Organize and plan with project team and lead engineers to secure deliver in time • Together with purchasers and lead engineers utilize Alfa Laval global footprint to secure engineering and purchasing of goods at best price while maintaining our appreciated quality Ideal candidate • Mechanical or chemical engineering degree preferable master level or equal • Extensive knowledge and experience within project management (+ 6 years) • Proven & successful record for handling projects covering process plants • Experienced within engineering of process plants • English skills at negotiation level (written and verbal) • Pro-active communication and good negotiation skills • Service-minded approach to customers and ability to understand, anticipate and respect their needs • Good planning skills, strong in analysing and prioritising in order to deliver right results • Good ability to balance customers´ and company´s satisfaction, ability to find and deliver “win-win” solutions • Internationally oriented with good cross-cultural awareness.
