If you can answer yes to these questions, you may be the senior project manager for Raw Material support that we are looking for. About the department You will join Sourcing Operations (SoOp), a dynamic area responsible for purchasing, warehousing and quality control of raw material, primary packaging material and printed packaging material for production and clinical trials. The function collaborates intensively with production sites, Strategic Sourcing, CMC, and suppliers to strengthen Novo Nordisk through global supply of quality materials. The job You will define and build up a new department in Sourcing Operations called Raw Material support. Your department will ensure that new materials can be effectively handled across the inbound supply chain from purchasing to QC. Your first task is to establish processes and a governance structure from CMC to SoOp that will enable effective future transfer of development projects from CMC to production from a sourcing perspective. To this end, you will create an overview of coming development projects and the requirements they put on our inbound chain, and look into the development and implementation of transfer packages, which enable QA, QC and purchasing to establish stable delivery of new materials to trials and production. Another important task will be to establish trouble shooting support to our running business when issues arise with suppliers. To achieve that, you will need to build a unit able to support 1500 different item numbers – we expect that we will have a technical supply manager per category that are able to run systematic problem solving together with suppliers, participate in task forces and continuously work to improve the quality from suppliers. The department will refer into our purchasing organisation as the collaboration with the purchasers on both new and existing materials will be crucial. Your department will also work closely with many stakeholders on operational and managerial levels across PS and CMC. Qualifications You are known for your ability to create transparency and clarity in complex processes, to build up solid relationships and create buy-in with stakeholders on literally all levels of the organization, and to achieve ambitious goals in a dynamic and demanding environment. You consistently create outstanding results by engaging your employees through clear direction setting and by respectfully integrating many voices in your decision-making. You have a strong quality mind-set and comprehensive experience in working within a GMP-regulated industry. We expect that you have an academic degree within natural science and have at least 3+ years as senior project manager or department manager. Preferably you have a large network in Novo Nordisk and have worked in CMC or one of our Manufacturing development functions to understand our stakeholder landscape.
