We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to be part of the IT Platform team in NAM IT. Working with skilled, international teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll play a key part in making NAM truly digital. Your future responsibilities

You’ll join a Senior IT Infrastructure specialist unit. We offer the possibility to become a part of a team with both strong IT and business competences, that successfully has built an integrated and operational platform for NAM.  

You will be involved in:  

  • Life Cycle Management making proactive plans for the IT platform in order to meet current and future business requirements. 
  • Monitoring product and delivery plans, technical requirements and communicating those internally.  
  • Stakeholder management with close contact to relevant people at the business, Group IT and vendors in order having plans executed. 
  • Monitoring system performance and capacity of the IT platform. 
  • Driving taskforces related to performance and technical problems. 
  • Driving application and technical updates 
  • As part of acquisitions of new applications, you will ensure that the team uncover technical requirements, installation instructions, test installations etc. 

 SimCorp Dimension (SCD) is the core application component of the platform and as such integrated with many other application and systems on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.  

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist you, in coordination with vendors and Nordea Group IT, will be part of the continuous proactive improvement of the IT platform in order to meet current and future business requirements. Your main responsibility will be the SCD where you will be Technical Application Owner.  

What you will be doing:  

  • Installing application patches in our Test- and Pre Production environments. 
  • Implementing various changes in our Test- and Pre Production environments. 
  • Solving problems in collaboration with vendors and Nordea Group IT. 
  • Ensuring that the Production platform is ready for receiving changes, via experiences and tests from the Test- and Pre Production environments 
  • Completing test updates and overseeing the Production platform upgrade 
  • Keeping technical documentation updated

Your profile and background:

We expect that you are fluent in English and have at least a relevant Bachleor’s degree (however related working experience will also be highly valued).  

You have the following technical competences:  

  • Expert with Oracle at database level including complex SQL/PLSQL, monitoring and performance tuning. 
  • Experience in operation of standard applications on a Windows platform including System Administration 
  • Experience with SCD technical operation and setup including maintenance of SCD Service Platform, installation of patches and version upgrades 
  • Experience with SCD Communication Server, Data Extractor and Data Format Setup. 
  • Experience with Oracle ExaData  

 The ideal candidate will also have most of the following technical skills:  

  • Knowledge of Oracle integration tool Golden Gate 
  • Knowledge of Hadoop and BI integration tools 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and integration tools such as BizTalk
