Your Responsibilities as Senior Geophysicist Our current projects include geophysical services to a large number of infrastructure projects in Denmark and an increasing market in the rest of Scandinavia. Driven by a high level of ambition and a good understanding of the specific needs and requirements of individual projects, our goal is to provide internationally competitive consultancy services in close cooperation with our clients and with our colleagues in the Ramboll Group. As Senior Geophysicist, your main responsibilities will include: •Take part in a broad range of technical services in the field of geophysics •Perform business development activities and manage client expectations •Elaborate tenders to clients •Cooperate closely with the senior members of the geophysical group •Mentor junior and intermediate staff •Project management •Close cooperation with other units in Ramboll especially our group of Geotechnical Engineers and Hydro Geologists We expect you to set high standards for the services we provide for our clients and business partners. You and Your Competencies We expect you to have a strong technical background within geophysics, consultancy, project management, and business development. You should have a creative personality and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. In the daily work you must be able to handle a large number of challenging projects and still focus on meeting the deadlines. You should have a relevant education as geophysicist, geologist, engineer, or equivalent. As our ideal candidate you are a team player and have: •Experience with geophysical services •Project management skills on major, multi-disciplinary projects •Commercial skills, ability to establish and retain long term client relations •A proactive and energetic approach The position as Senior Geophysicists will require networking across the Ramboll organisation, and good abilities for cooperation and communication is thus a prerequisite. Join the Geophysical Department You will be a part of Ramboll’s geophysical team based in Copenhagen. Besides our team of 13 skilled Geophysicists/Geologists we have a variety of geophysical equipment for marine surveys, reflection and refraction seismic including a small seismic vibrator, different ground penetration radars including a 3D system, different equipment for electrical and electromagnetic methods and equipment for geophysical borehole logging. We are currently working on a wide range of projects. These include offshore and onshore surveys for infrastructure projects in Norway, the future connection across the Northern Harbour in Copenhagen, georadar for archaeological investigations in Lund, Sweden, several offshore wind farm projects and borehole logging for the future metro to the South Harbour in Copenhagen.
