Senior Equipment Manager

This is your chance to create the next generation of processing platforms in the LEGO Group. You will have end-to-end responsibility from early concept to production implementation while you use your experience to inspire your colleagues.

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing new processing equipment platforms – from the earliest stages of concept development all the way to implementation of equipment in the production facilities around the world. It will take you travelling up to 20 days per year, as you work closely with production managers in the factories as well as our external equipment suppliers. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• technical specifications and related drawings of new equipment

• proof of concept and documentation of all related tests

• technical procurement of equipment, making sure that equipment KPI`s are being met

• handover to platform owner via sign of procedure

• using your technical expertise to mentor equipment constructors

Do you have what it takes?

As a person, you value working independently with end-to-end processes, but you also understand the importance of working with stakeholders in a global perspective. You know that you need to know problems to find the perfect solutions at all levels of the organization. This calls for an open mind, curiosity and the desire to learn. Also, you seek to deliver according to your own highest quality standard and at the same time ensure executional excellence. For this you need:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering

• Most importantly, you have solid technical skills, allowing you to work with and test technical specifications, and you are used to working in CAD

• You have a background as a mechanical engineer or similar

• You have 5+ years of experience within technical design of and building processing equipment

• You have experience within technical project management related to processing equipment

• You speak and write English effortlessly
