Siemens Real Estate is looking for Senior Buyer to take responsibility for the entire Facility Management spend within Siemens in Denmark. While reporting to the head of procurement, you will be working closely together with our facility management department as well as procurement colleagues across Northern Europe with the goal to generate cost savings from negotiations, supplier management/supplier development and process optimizations. Siemens Real Estate owns and manages approx 470.000 m2 of buildings and more than 2.000.000 m2 open land (production and storage) facilities across Denmark. SRE is a cross sector support function with own P/L responsibility and scope of work comprises transaction management, building solutions, asset and property management, and facility management with a high degree of rightsourcing. SCM SRE-P is the supply chain function of SRE. It has global responsibility for all procurement activities of SRE and also for all procurement of Real Estate and Energy material fields at Siemens. What are my responsibilities? You will be commercially responsible for the spend for Real Estate in Denmark (hard and soft facility management, refurbishment/renovation projects, furniture, services, etc.) Analyzing, developing and implementing tender and contracting strategies in close cooperation with Siemens Real Estate Developing and implementing improvement projects for SRE Generating cost savings from negotiations, supplier management and contract management Close cooperation with our global colleagues Support for international projects is planned as a an option What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a relevant theoretical education e.g. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, e.g. within Business Administration, Procurement or similar combined with 3--5 years of professional experience from within the areas of strategic procurement and facility management You have excellent stakeholder management skills combined with a strong analytic sense and a desire for continuous improvement You are an individual contributor who thrives in team work and an international environment As a person you possess excellent negotiation and networking skills and are an impactful communicator Your language skills allow you to communicate effortlessly in English and Danish In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
