The position As SCADA technician you work onsite with the customer with installation, commissioning and maintenance of SCADA systems. You work in a team of two and SCADA technicians are responsible for all work related to technical matters on projects. In addition the technicians make sure that the all work is carried out in accordance with the project plan, deadlines and customer requirements. Your primary tasks as SCADA Technician will be: •SCADA installations •Fiber optic work •Configuration •Site Acceptance Test •Documentation •PLC •Regulation •Communication Protocols •Trouble shooting •Service & maintenance •Hardware Review •Consultancy •Installation and support on own products •Training of end users/customers onsite The teams of SCADA Technicians are responsible for all work related to technical matters on projects. In addition, SCADA Technicians make sure that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plan, deadlines and customer requirements. It requires a high level of self-motivation and ownership and pride in finishing the job to our customers’ full satisfaction. To be an excellent SCADA Technician you must have a strong motivation and desire to explore new opportunities and you thrive in an environment where two days are never the same and you feel a need to make a contribution with your knowledge of electrical and technical onsite work. The position is based in Aulum, DK but you will travel extensively and will have between 125-150 travel days a year. You will be part of an international team of 20 highly competent and helpful colleagues in the group of SCADA Technicians and Control Engineers. SCADA Technicians and Engineers are working globally with installations, service and technical support on projects. Further, you will have customer contact and work closely with your colleagues in Sales and Project Management to ensure that all projects are executed and handed over to the customer to the agreed cost, quality and deadline. Quality and excellent customer satisfaction is a top priority at SCADA International which is why we emphasize training and education of our employees. Training and education will take place as classroom based education in-house and externally, onsite training and peer to peer development of task and job specific skills. What we expect from you You are an experienced electrician or engineer or a newly graduated mechanical or electrical engineer or similar with knowledge of installation, commissioning and configuration. If you have experience with network and server equipment, server administration as well this will definitely be a plus. Further, you are able to read and create electrical and project documentation
