Responsibilities: The Head of Analysis and Reporting is responsible for a team of data analysts whose main function is to analyse data and draw conclusions from ROMO Wind’s measurement instruments installed on wind turbines. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Build organisational capacities to position the company for high growth - Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a team of data analysts - Data validation, cleaning, filtering, synchronisation, and analysis of data from ROMO Wind’s spinner anemometer and related instruments (including LiDAR, GPS, compass, air pressure and power measurement instruments) - Analyse wind turbine data to identify potential for optimization and reasons for underperformance - Writing, issuing and presenting reports from measurement campaigns, including the development and improvement of standard reporting format - Customer support and presentation of analysis and results to clients (when required) in collaboration with other functions of ROMO Wind - Calculation of improved production coming from yaw misalignment correction, including relative power curve improvement - Maintain and update reference results and other necessary documentation - Data mining and development of filters for determining which wind turbines are more likely to have yaw misalignment - Provide support and reporting to distributors and partners with respect to data acquisition, sharing, analysis and results from measurement campaigns - Provide input to product and technology development within the ROMO Wind group Professional background and personal qualifications: - You have a relevant educational background (university, engineering, or similar) - You have in depth knowledge from the wind energy sector - You have experience with managing a team of specialists - You have extensive experience with management and analysis of large amount of data from wind measurement and/or wind turbines - You are familiar with wind measurements from different instruments (mechanical wind vanes, sonic sensors, remote sensing technologies) - It is an advantage if you have experience with performance measurements of wind turbines, prefera-bly according to IEC 61400–12-1 - You can have a technical dialogue with other technical wind turbine specialists - You have from previous jobs demonstrated your ability to work highly structured and to manage a larger development projects with inter-dependent sub-projects - You are able to maintain a cool overview, prioritize your work correctly and still deliver on time. - You have integrity, a professional attitude and a strong wish to perform your job according to the highest possible standards - You are a flexible team worker who enjoys working in a dynamic company - You are fluent in English – both orally and written. Other languages a plus - You must be attracted by the challenges and fun of being in a small organisation, where your per-sonal decisions, motivation and actions have significant impact on the project success - You know the fun of being part of building and developing something new - You have a high sense of quality and performance, and you enjoy working in an international envi-ronment - You have advanced IT knowledge regarding Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
