Global IT > Development, Sales, Production & Service > Enterprise Platforms 
Vestas is investing heavily in transforming processes and integrations with customers and suppliers. We are currently advancing our two speed IT platform driving process automation and a productive mobile workforce. The mobile applications will accelerate our IT platform and will require focus on design patterns, re-using, integrating or developing services to simplify IT for our users.

Global IT has placed a significant proportion of operation and maintenance with sourcing partners, which raises the standard for how we capture business requirements and specify Vestas’ needs towards our sourcing partners. To succeed in this, we have strengthened our business engagement with internal customers, because we need to be able to translate their requirements into high quality IT services and solutions. We also cooperate closely with our sourcing partners to ensure they can deliver to our promise.

You will be working in a small department with two highly skilled colleagues. In addition, you will have support from other colleagues in Global IT and collaborate with numerous stakeholders across the organisation. 

Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be SAP basis work ranging from improvements to architectural design and technical leadership. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover to:

• Ensure system performance including upgrades and version control
• Develop architecture and road-maps for the future SAP Basis landscape in close cooperation with IT business partners and architects
• Manage and monitor progress with partners and suppliers
• Drive tasks within SAP Basis

Qualifications

• A theoretical background within information technology combined with 5+ years’ SAP Basis experience
• Architectural skills within SAP systems and landscape design
• Demonstrated digital design experience and security knowledge
• Preferably solid SAP Solution Manager experience 
• Root cause analysis skills
• Experience in infrastructure and databases (preferably S/4 HANA and SQL server)
• Operation of cloud solutions (from SAP and other vendors)
• Proficient in verbal and written English
