Development is part of Radiometer’s DNA. We develop technologically advanced and market leading medical devices and our employees develop on a personal and professional level. We are looking for an ambitious R&D Chemist who is ready to drive the development of calibration- and QC solutions for Radiometer’s blood gas analyzers. 

Become a key player in development projects by involving stakeholders

You will join a team of chemists and Lab Technicians. Your work contributes to development of the calibration- and QC solutions that are essential for the precision and quality in the measurements done by our medical devices. You do this by planning tests, writing protocols and reports and collaborating with the Lab Technicians in the team as they help you perform eg. stability- and compatibility tests of the solutions that you work with. Further, the job gives you significant responsibility for design control for the solutions, the interface and the product transfer to production. The other R&D Chemists in the team will act as sparring partners. Additionally, you can expect to collaborate broadly in Radiometer as you gather information, prioritize assignments and communicate openly about the progress of the development. Expect to have contact with the following:

• Other R&D departments and project teams
• Production
• QA / RA
• External supplier

Please note that most of our internal stakeholders are all located on site in Brønshøj, Copenhagen, which makes all our colleagues and their valuable knowledge accessible.

Qualifications

This position is vacant for you to apply for if you have:

• Master degree in chemistry or related area
• 2-3 years of experience within
  1. Physical chemistry (like solubility, equilibria, formulation of solutions)
  2. Working with stability tests
  3. Risk analysis of products and their intended usage
  4. Product requirements
• Experience in working and navigating in projects involving several functions and many stakeholders
• The ability to take responsibility, achieve results and keep deadlines
