Quality Design Control Engineer for medical device development

Phillips-Medisize A/S continues to expand, so we are searching for an experienced Quality Design Control Engineer. If you are interested in being part of a project organization and are passionate about creating unique products for people who need medical treatment it might be you we are looking for.

About the position

You will work in collaboration with our external customers and internal colleagues in project teams, where your role is to plan, coordinates and follow-up on quality and regulatory activities. Typically, projects involve various technical disciplines like mechanics, HW, SW and wireless connectivity, and span from concept development, design and development and design transfer into production. Our Quality Management System (QMS) is designed to support these activities to secure the appropriate level of quality, including preparation of technical and regulatory documentation needed to support product approval and registrations where needed.

Participation in internal and external audits as well as contribution to continuous development and maintenance of our QMS is a part of the job.

Your professional qualifications

Master or Bachelor degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy or similar qualifications. Experience with design control within the medical device industry, quality and design assurance and product approvals and registration including CE-marking and FDA 510(k) is preferable, but not a requirement.

Your personal qualifications

You have a strong quality attitude and mindset with hands-on execution. You are analytical and theo-retical well grounded. You work well structured and understand the importance of providing a high level of quality in documentation. From experience, you know how to secure the required level of quality in a project environment with many stakeholders - even in the more intensive phases of the projects.

You are proactive, result oriented and a self-motivated team player. Furthermore, you thrive by using your professional skills, are open-minded, and listen to input from colleagues.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
