Metro Service has been awarded the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract for the upcoming light rail project, Hovedstadens Letbane (HLB), currently under construction, with Revenue Operation scheduled to start in 2025. Design work for Operations and Maintenance is entering the preliminary phase on this exciting project, and Metro Service is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager through the Design phases - and beyond through to Revenue Operation.

 

About the job

This is your change to get involved on a 5 billion DKK project involving multiple project partners (Siemens, Aarsleff, CG Jensen to name a few) and make your mark as a part of the O&M design team.

 

Your main task will be to

Managing Milestone Submissions

  • track progress of documents and follow up with owners
  • prepare and transmit submission package of documents
  • receive, track and distribute Client comments to appropiate parties
  • follow up on document updates/actions
  • collect and resubmit documents within the deadline.

Quality Management

  • quality check documents prepared for milestone submissions
  • ensure compliance with Client and contract specifications
  • ensure document formalities and correctly fulfilled.

Project Correspondence

  • manage incoming and outgoing porject transmittals
  • update the register of incoming/outgoing documents
  • distribute documents received 
  • follow up on actions from tranmittals, collect and submit response documents within deadline.

Project Administration

  • prepare minutes of partner and contractor meetings
  • support preparation of progress reports, letters, Requests for Information (RFI) and other documents as required.

Planning and Scheduling

  • support O%M project planning and scheduling processes
  • support in coordinating activites performed within the project team, to ensure on-time project deliverables
  • schedule project meetings and prepare meeting agendas.

We expect that you

  • have a technical background (engineer, IT or similar)
  • have a project management experience
  • have ability to handle large amounts of structured documentation
  • are proficient in the Microsoft Office prgrammes (Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • are proficient in both written and spoken English

Furthermore, it will be advantage if you speak, read and write Danish.
