Do you want to develop and unfold your project management skills and deep customer understanding in a growing engineering function? At Danfoss Industrial Automation, we are looking for a result-oriented Project Engineer with solid communication skills and a strong drive. Danfoss Industrial Automation has a wide product portfolio covering pressure and temperature sensors, fluid controls and switches for industrial applications. We take pride in the diversity of our markets, and we have a long tradition of serving demanding industries with customised products. As such, you will join a growing division and be part of a dedicated team with seven colleagues, mainly supporting our factory in Nordborg but also support the engineering team in China. Your job will be highly cross functional, and you will be navigating in a field of multiple internal and external stakeholders, locally as well as internationally. Focus on project management and cross-functional mind-set With reference to the Global Engineering Director, you will be responsible for tasks and projects related to customers and suppliers. You will gain a deep understanding of our customers specific requirements related to key account customers and your focus will be to execute customisation projects on new product variants. In those projects, you will drive and coordinate the customer specific tests and documentation in close corporation with sales. You will need to act agile and make the needed adjustments to move the projects forward. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to: •Maintain existing brand label products •Function as the supply chain core team member in new brand label product projects •Execute product change projects to improve quality and save costGeneral engineering and maintenance of products •Follow up on different stakeholders in order to deliver timely Proactive, project management skills and business-oriented You hold an engineering degree in mechanics or mechatronics paired with some years’ project management experience within product development and contract management. You are the kind of project manager who thrives in an operational role where you make things happen. Alternative you are experienced within engineering or product development and ready for new challenges. Preferably, you are experienced in SAP, Six Sigma, and CAD (Inventor). Additionally, experience with quality management systems, TS16949, and related tools will be an advantage. You both have the motivation and capability to execute and implement project plans according to time schedules in a highly agile and global environment. You are proactive and committed with a strong impact, and you manage to work in a cross-functional team to ensure optimal cooperation with stakeholders. Accordingly, you need to be both collaborative and persistent in your decision-making, and you understand and are able to navigate in different work cultures.
