From project scoping to implementation and follow through

With change and optimisation as your two guiding principles, you work with all types of project management tasks, from more specific sub-projects to very large projects of several years' duration. The projects may, for example, deal with the implementation of a global outsourcing solution, developing functional strategies and benchmarks, establishing an improved CAPEX governance, optimisation of working capital or the implementation of robotics. A programme driven project could for instance be the implementation of a new operating model including systems, processes and organisational changes for our HR organisation.

Specifically you will work with:

• Program management for larger Business Projects
• Project and program team management
• Follow-up and reporting
• Risk analysis and mitigation
• Analysis and project scoping in close dialogue with the business
• Business cases and benefit realisation
• Project management in close dialogue with external partners and the involved business areas in LEO
• Negotiation with (strong) stakeholders about project scope, time and resources
• Project and implementation plans
• Stakeholder analysis and management
• Resource Planning
• Development and implementation of best practice project management tools and processes

You will most likely have some travelling (3-4 weeks a year) to meet business partners and colleagues globally.

Diplomatic problem solver with solid project management experience from international projects

You have a higher education and project/program management training and at least 5-10 years’ experience from a similar role in a large organization and / or consultancy where you have worked with global transformation projects. You can work hands-on with all phases within project management from scoping to implementation. Ideally, you have also run larger transformation programs with multiple tracks going across the organisation – such as a Business area, HR and IT.

At the same time, you are fully aware that the role of project or program manager does not give you the formal management responsibility. If your project team members are to follow your agenda, it will be due to your ability to influence and manage stakeholders - fundamentally because of well supported argumentation and proficient communication. It requires the ability to understand their perspective in combination with the ability to bring your messages across in a way that makes sense to them - no matter what level they are at and the professional and cultural background they have. You excel in expectation management and you have the ability to both receive and provide direct feedback.

You work with an analytical, structured and proactive can-do approach to your tasks and excel at problem solving. In combination with your strategic understanding and conceptual skills you are capable of turning complicated challenges into smart and practical outcomes. You have the courage to address difficult issues and stand your ground on the right advisory. Last but not least, you work with a high level of energy that transcends to the project team you lead.

Your new team

You get 7-8 good colleagues based in LEO Pharma's head office in Ballerup. Everyone has project management experience from consultancies and/or large organizations. Our focus is to lead business-critical transformation projects, and we therefore have great attention and support from top management. We are anchored in LEO Strategy Execution & Change and work on projects across LEO. We have an informal tone of voice and openly share knowledge and experience.
