Are you an experienced business analyst that excel in translating commercial needs into the right long-term technical solutions? Then you might be the Product Specialist we are looking for to ensure the right level of technical specification of features in our early stages of development of controllers and DEIF branded products.
The Job:
Your primary tasks are to translate commercial product demands into technical specifications and elaborate requirements into user stories. You will collaborate with multiple people across the organisation as Product Managers, engineering teams, architects and other product specialists. As Product Specialist you will lead the engagement with all relevant stakeholders and together with architects and technical specialists design the right solutions that will have long-term benefits for DEIF.
As Product Specialist you will also be involved in developing and maintaining a product-feature matrix for our current product line-up to communicate current capabilities and support future requests. You will be an important part in developing our state of the art platform that is constantly evolving to support the entire product line.
You will report to the Vice President in our R&D segment ‘Product and Application’ where you will join an active management group together with other specialists and department managers located in Denmark, India and Germany. You will be contributing to cross department improvement activities and have the opportunity to influence how we operate within the Product and Application function. As the Product Specialist role is new in DEIF, we are looking for someone that feels excited by the prospect of using their experience to influence the content of the role
The Person:
You are likely to have a degree in electrical or software engineering or in computer science and have a professional background as technical product manager or as a business analyst. Preferably you have worked with digital products and have knowledge of software and system architecture. You are a strong communicator who balances and anticipates the needs of multiple stakeholders. You have a structured approach to asking the right questions that ensures we find the right solutions and are capable of both developing and improving our development guidelines in order to fulfill product requirements. Finally, you apply your knowledge of the business to advance the organisation’s goals and ensure long-term solutions.
