This is your opportunity to join a new business unit within the VELUX Group, creating daylight solutions for roofs as part of a new sub brand. We already have the first products in place. Now, we need you to define, promote and evolve the product programme.Your challenges
You will be the overall responsible for defining the product programme for our new products. This involves initiating, managing and executing projects to establish, and with time expand, the product programme. Alternating between delegating tasks to project participants from Product Development, Production and Marketing and executing hands-on tasks yourself, you will be responsible for:
- Pricing and positioning of all products in relation to product launch
- Defining road maps for product development
- Defining product tests and certifications with support from our product development team in Østbirk
- Creating technical specifications and product data sheets
- Ensuring up-to-date product visualisations in CAD/BIM
- Ensuring product sell-in to VELUX sales companies, including conducting product training for global sales managers
We will initially launch the product programme in a European country and will eventually take it to global roll-out. As you will be part of a lobal organisation, you can expect to travel approx. 20 days a year.
Your qualifications
As a person, you are ambitious. You know when to delegate tasks and when to run with it yourself. And you can delve into technical details while maintaining a firm understanding of the overall strategy. Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have experience with product management, preferably from a global company or perhaps from your own start-up
- Have a technical background, e.g. as an engineer or similar, and it would be an advantage if you have experience from the construction industry
- Communicate effortlessly in English
