You will be part of a self-governed globally operating team that creates ways for our customers to apply margarine, shortening, fine food and mayonnaise in their recipes. Develop new solutions and assist with technological knowledge at sales meetings As Process Engineer, your two main responsibilities are to plan and carry out pilot trials, where you add and optimise the usage of margarine and shorting in our customers’ and our processes. Further, you provide technical sales support in relation to emulsification and crystallisation technology for our global customers. When performing pilot trials, you optimise processes, gather relevant information and prepare our standard process descriptions – both in close collaboration with customers and on your own, as you use your curiosity to develop new, more effective processes. You use your strong background to provide colleagues in the sales, technical and project departments with process knowledge when needed. Further, you assist at technical sales meetings via mail or phone, or at the customer’s location. This will take you travelling 40 – 60 days per year. To secure that you possess the newest knowledge available, you will continuously be invited to attend conferences and give presentations to up to 100 clients and colleagues in our field. Thus, you: •have a Master’s Degree in Dairy Technology, Chemistry or Food Science, or equivalent • have proven experience within the bakery, margarine or fine food business •have an analytical and systematic approach to trouble shooting and product development • speak and write fluent English. As a person, you are a detail-oriented specialist who thrives with researching and optimising processes, as well as delivering and sharing trust and guidance with your colleagues and customers. When engaging with colleagues and customers, you are proactive, service-minded and outgoing, allowing you to easily build and maintain relationships across countries and cultures.
