Process Engineer for Mold planning and support department

For our Mold Manufacturing - Planning and support department within Siemens Gamesa Blades we are looking for a committed and motivated process engineer to support and develop our mold manufacturing processes and activities. You will be part of a small team of Process Engineers working on developing new and maturing/optimizing existing processes within mold manufacturing and installation.

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will be designing and documenting "critical to-parameters" for processes within scope of work. You will contribute to or lead process development and be actively engaged in process optimizations and implementation. You will be supporting our mold production and installation within fault finding, trouble shooting and recommendation of repair methods. In this role you will be acting as the "quality ambassador". Moreover, you will be:

• Developing and implementing new production processes
• Identifying process improvement areas and optimizing accordingly
• Documenting creation/maintenance within the processes you are responsible for (work instructions/ purchase specification/ P-FMEA’s/ special characteristics, RA’s and PTP) 
• Analyzing workflow and propose improvements to management
• Ensuring effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders; clarify issues within manufacturing and installation of molds locally and global (external/internal audit, customer observations etc.)

About you

You have an engineering degree or similar technical education within mechanical engineering or relevant area. It is preferred to have experience as craftsman – boatbuilder, carpenter or similar. You have experience within writing requirement specification and experience working with composites & wind turbine blade manufacturing-related knowledge. You are technically strong within process development and equipment design and have reporting and analyzing skills.

 

 

As a person you are independent, systematic, have keen eyes for details and business and customer focus. You are a strong believer in quality and safety, and can be cost conscious for production processes. You are outgoing, persistent, have a proactive way of working, have good overview and are able to manage multiple tasks simultanesously. You are fluent in English both orally and in writing.

 

You are flexible regarding working hours as overtime can occur.

 

You are strong in MS-Office and knowledge of Teamcenter or similar systems

 

In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
