We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join our highly international research center - The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Responsibilities and tasks The successful candidate will be working on projects concerning metabolic engineering of actinomycete antibiotics producers. The work will include topics on laboratory automation, development, implementation and application of high throughput metabolic engineering tools for actinomycetes, and the identification and characterization of novel secondary metabolite biosynthesis pathways. Become part of the New Bioactive Compounds section headed by Prof. Sang Yup Lee. Salary and terms of employment The appointments will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The allowance will be agreed with the relevant union. The period of employment for the position is 2 years.
