We are a part of the expanding and internationally oriented CODAN Companies with more than 1,500 employees in total. The CODAN Companies have many years of experience in the production, marketing and sale of internationally acclaimed disposable medical devices and hold ISO certification.

The job:
As a plastics engineer, you will be responsible for managing and/or taking part in technical projects within injection moulding production across the entire organisation of CODAN Medical ApS. You will also be involved in managing the projects concerning design and construction of injection moulding tools. This takes place in compliance with current guidelines according to our quality management system and official regulations.
In addition, your tasks will also include:
• Completion of tasks relating to projects, in order to continuously improve product quality
• Responsible for projects regarding purchasing of moulding tools as well as technical responsibility
• Responsible for validation of moulding tools in collaboration with production
• Presentation of proposals and completion of tasks in conjunction with optimisation and savings projects across the organisation
• Guidance and exchange of experience with workshops in conjunction with the purchasing of spare parts
• Ongoing assessment of the condition of forms in collaboration with the form workshop, taking decisions concerning renovation or new investment
• Undertaking collaboration with CODAN in Lensahn, Germany, as well as other suppliers concerning projects and general operation
Your professional qualifications:
Several years of knowledge of the injection moulding process as well as moulding tools. Advanced educational qualification as plastics engineer, mechanical engineer or similar. Alternatively, training as a toolmaker, plastics engineer or plastics maker, with experience of technical drawings and documentation, injection moulding forms, plastic production and technical project work.
Personal qualifications:
• Understand the value of and have experience from inter-organisational work
• Capable of making decisions and a good communicator
• Ability to structure your own working day
• Clean structured thinking and organisational talent
• Good command of English in speaking and writing, knowledge of German is an advantage
